What does an AI-assisted writing process look like?

Love it or hate it, you can’t spend 5 seconds on LinkedIn without running into a post about AI. This is especially true if most of your connections are writers, content managers, CMOs, and marketers. Many job openings in this space now require writers to be at least marginally familiar with AI writing tools and to describe their AI writing process. Welcome to my AI content writing blog. This blog is entirely, 100%, PURE human writing (straight from the sparkling rivers of my brain). There’s no generative AI in these virtual pages. Go ahead and run any post through Pangram. I have nothing to hide. That said, I do use AI in my professional work and I think it’s important to talk about this. My posts will address AI writing (at length and exhaustively) and what that means for my services and for any potential clients I work with.

I’m not afraid of learning new technology. I enjoy writing about what I’ve learned. But I also think we humans must continue to exercise the parts of our brain that operate independently from AI. Write without it. Plan without it. Create art without it even as we continue to fold it into our daily workflows and processes. That’s basically my AI-writing philosophy in a nutshell.

This little blog of mine is a place for me to remain human and keep my skills as a writer sharp. The photos and artwork used to accompany these posts are all my own. I have a Nikon D3400 DSLR camera and I love taking pictures of nature (bugs, birds, flowers, trees). I’m also an artist and love to draw and paint landscapes and scenes from nature.

Every piece of artwork on this blog is created by a human - either me or another artist who I will fully credit. Thanks for stopping by.
